The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that was founded in 1999 with the aim of raising funds to help find cures for children with cancer by shaving heads in support of raising funds. The inaugural event was hosted on March 17, 2000 where $104,000 was raised by 19 shavees. Thanks in large part to these events, St. Baldrick’s has been able to grant more than $253 million to support the development of childhood cancer treatments.

Why We Support St. Baldrick's

Worldwide, a child is diagnosed every 2 minutes with cancer. More children are lost to cancer in the U.S. than any other disease and more than many other diseases combined. The National Residence Hall Honorary hosts Shave for the Brave each year in hopes to help find a cure and we hope you will join us in raising funds for life-saving childhood cancer research. With your help fundraising, more children and families are finding hope for a cure. View the several ways you can help below.

We know we're helping find cures for children battling cancer in our community and throughout the world. Join us and let's conquer childhood cancer!

Form a Team

Fundraise as a group by joining a team! Represent your organization/floor/class/department by registering as individuals and joining an already existing team, or by creating a new one. NRHH awards a prize for the team that raises the most money each year so recruit some co-workers, friends and family to join your team and get a head-start on your fundraising.
